On-Feet With Nike's Air Fear of God 1 "Summertime Sail"
Detailed shots of the shoes in action and at rest.
Following the one-two punch of “Frosted Spruce” and “Orange Pulse,” another set of Fear of God‘s signature silhouettes is set to launch this weekend. The Nike Air Fear of God 1 “Summertime Sail” is coming imminently, and we took the covetable colorway to the court and shot it both in action and unworn.
The tonal take on Jerry Lorenzo‘s inventive high-top model sports a pale upper and white textile cage around the entire design, keeping the wearer’s foot in place with thick laces and strategic eyelets. A solitary black Swoosh lends minimal contrast to the lateral side of the sneaker, while the heel sports tonal co-branding for uninterrupted tones. Branded zippers on the rear allow for easy access, lending a further luxurious touch to the utilitarian silhouette.
The Air Fear of God 1 “Sail” launches June 8 via Nike’s site.
Elsewhere, Fear of God launched a seasonal lookbook for its Sixth Collection.
