National Geographic has teamed up with skate brand Element for a graphic-heavy Fall/Winter 2019 collection to raise awareness for the natural world.

Joining forces, National Geographic has taken its wealth of nature imagery and combined it with Element’s brand motifs — animals and the elements of wind, water, fire and Earth — to create a comprehensive collection of skate accessories and apparel. Ranging from skate decks, wheels and grip tape to T-shirts and crewnecks, the items feature stunning portraits of various animals like sharks, eagles, snakes, hares and lions, coupled with skate legends like Brandon Westgate, Evan Smith, Greyson Fletcher, Madars Apse, Nyjah Huston, Julian Davidson and Tom Schaar.

Creating the collection, the two brands “aim to help people better understand the world and push the boundaries of their knowledge.” In support of this goal, part of the proceeds from sales will go towards supporting children into skateboard camps and funding the National Geographic Society’s work in the areas of science, exploration, conservation, and education.

For those interested, National Geographic and Element’s first collection will be available globally at select retailers and on Element’s site from June 24, and prices range from $11 USD to $99 USD.

And for more sustainability-related projects, KangaROOS and EARTH Water has collaborated for an OG “Africa” to support access to clean water sources in Cameroon.
