Gucci Mane Shares "Proud Of You" Video, Reveals 'Delusions of Grandeur' Release Date
Guwop teams up with Kenny Beats for his latest single.
Earlier this month, Gucci Mane announced a new studio project known as Delusions of Grandeur and introduced the mixtape by debuting its Meek Mill-assisted lead single, “Backwards.” Now, just a couple days after sharing the Terrius Mykel-directed music video for “Backwards,” the Trap God continues the rollout and promotional campaign for Delusions of Grandeur by unloading another new single in support of the tape, “Proud Of You.”
Notably, “Proud Of You” stands as the third Delusions of Grandeur track to hit the public’s radar before the project’s formal arrival and serves as the follow-up to the aforementioned Meek Mill collaboration and last month’s “Love Thru the Computer” single with Justin Bieber. The song features production from Kenny Beats and comes to us alongside its visual component, which was put together by director Drevinci Wrks. In the video for “Proud Of You,” Gucci Mane uses the roofs of Rolls-Royces as his stages, standing on top of the pristine luxury vehicles as he delivers the bars that make up his latest record.
Along with the new music video and single, Gucci Mane is also revealing Delusions Of Grandeur‘s release date: June 21. Gucci Mane’s previous full-length project, Evil Genius, hit streaming services in December of 2018. “When they hear this [Delusions of Grandeur], it’s going to surprise a lot of people, man, because it’s is a crazy album,” Guwop previously told Zane Lowe, building anticipation for the delivery of his forthcoming mixtape.
