Golden State Warriors Best Toronto Raptors to Force Game 6
Will homecourt advantage help?
Narrowly avoiding defeat, the Golden State Warriors beat the Toronto Raptors 106 – 105 to force Game 6.
Heading back to the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California June 14, Steph Curry and his squad will be looking to tie up the series. But the Warriors may not have the same strength that they brought at the start of Game 5. Coming back from a month-long injury absence, Kevin Durant reinjured himself after an amazing start. Reports are now noting that Durant injured his Achilles’ tendon and didn’t reinjure his calf, but the extent of the damage will be more apparent after an MRI on Tuesday. Additionally, Warriors Center Kevon Looney re-aggravated his right 1st costal cartilage non-displaced fracture injury and is now marked as day-to-day.
The Warriors will be relying on Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson once again in their next meeting with the Raptors, as the duo were responsible for the late push that saw them come out on top in Game 5.
In case you missed it, Anthony Joshua triggered his immediate rematch clause looking to reclaim his title from Andy Ruiz Jr.
This does not look good.
