XLARGE Remixes G-SHOCK DW-6900 With Contrasting Hues

Accompanied by subtle gorilla branding.

Occasional collaborators X-LARGE and G-SHOCK often drop a bespoke watch each year, and keep the trend going for 2019 with another revised DW-6900. This edition utilizes XLARGE’s signature hue to create a contrasted, head-turning timepiece.

Two key XLARGE components are realized across the special watch. Most notably, a rich blue — the longstanding label’s signature tone — informs the case and strap, undercut by an unmissable lime green that informs the face and text around the model. XLARGE branding also appears throughout, like on the face and embossed on the rear beneath another important piece of the brand identity: the gorilla mascot. Not only does the character appear on the rear, it also surfaces inside the digital display on the face once the backlit is activated.

Expect the collaborative G-SHOCK DW-6900 to launch May 3 on X-LARGE’s web store.

Most recently, G-SHOCK joined up with Everlast for a boxing glove-inspired GBA-800.
