Never content to allow its iconic sneakers to stagnate, Vans continues introducing innovative footwear models, following the recent Bricolage pack with these imposing “Stacked” sneakers. Two of the sneaker company’s most iconic models receive tall platform outsoles, with two distinctive makeups of each on hand.

Both the Sk8-Hi and Era receive the height boost, which consists of translucent rubber midsoles and rippled outsoles attached to the pre-existing silhouette’s midsole. Along with the new soles, the shoes enjoy several more subtle tweaks, which include checkerboard heel panels on the familiar monochrome iterations and glittering “Confetti” toecaps on the “Fairy Wren” and “Sea Green” variations. The latter colorways offer black accents against cool-hued panels, making for impressively dramatic revisions.

Shop all four iterations of the tall shoes on Vans’ web store, with both women’s and men’s sizes available.
