UPDATE: THUNDERBOLT PROJECT BY FRGMT & POKÉMON Gets New Drop Date & Wider Release
Including a Pikachu mascot key chain.
UPDATE: The THUNDERBOLT PROJECT BY FRGMT & POKÉMON will see a wider release at DSM locations around the world as well as on DSML E-FLASH — launching 6AM EST, May 4.
ORIGINAL STORY (April 1 2019):
After announcing that the collection will release at Dover Street Market locations around the world, Hiroshi Fujiwara has given a full look at the THUNDERBOLT PROJECT BY FRGMT & POKÉMON. The collection spans apparel — with graphic hoodies and T-shirts — as well as a keychain-sized mascot piece. The full range comes in both black and white, with one set of colorful graphics the only pops of color throughout the special range.
Graphics on the hoodies reference Pikachu, as well as reworking the fragment design logo into Pokémon-style prints. Pikachu also features on the T-shirts — alongside Eevee — as well as on the keychain-sized THUNDERBOLT PROJECT Original Pikachu Mascot. For this release, the mascot comes in dark grey, a long way off Pikachu’s original bright yellow coloring.
Ahead of the collection’s release at DSM locations in April, Dover Street Market Ginza will hold an exclusive pre-release April 6. Expect the collection to arrive at other stores shortly after.
