New Balance Drops Liverpool FC-Inspired Fresh Foam LAZR
Complete with legendary manager Bob Paisley’s signature.

With the sportswear giant crafting white-on-red 2019/20 Home kits for Liverpool FC, New Balance has appropriately decided to offer up comfort-minded kicks to match. As such, the Fresh Foam LAZR v2 has received a thematic makeover, complete with Liverpool logos and a tonal colorway.
An ultra-breathable red upper ensures that the running shoe gives the wearer’s foot plenty of airflow, ideal for warmer weather. New Balance branding at the bottom of the vamp adds slight contrast against the red laces, leading up to the gold “L.F.C.” branding at the tongue. A white midsole matches the cushioned sockliner, with the familiar icy blue Fresh Foam outsole for both color contrast and all-day walking comfort.
The sneaker is completed by a simple touch inside the tongue, where Bob Paisley’s signature is rendered in gold — Paisley spent over five decades with Liverpool, working positions as diverse as midfielder, coach and physical therapist. Notably, Paisley led the team to win the English top-flight championship three times, making him one of only three managers to ever accomplish the feat.
The Liverpool FC-inspired Fresh Foam LAZR is currently available for pre-order from New Balance’s site for $109.99 USD.
Recently, New Balance reimagined its weighty 990BK5 shoe in blacked-out suede.
