Ghostemane and Ho99o9 have announced that they will be embarking on a month-long tour across the United States beginning today, May 29. To commemorate the new tour, the artists have come together on a hardcore, industrial, and hip-hop infused track entitled “Twist of Fate/Cobra.”
Relishing in a fresh new take on age old sounds, Ghostemane’s black metal-meets-rap sound meshes alongside punk-rap duo Ho99o9. Darkly tinged, the first half of new track highlights a metal instrumental, with a menacing guitar riff creaking at the forefront with frenetic drums scoring the background. The second break of the track, noticeably the “Cobra” portion, aptly takes to a hip-hop centric sound, with 808 basses and snare lines taking an aggressive prominence — all performers equally change from a punk-centric deliveries to spitting articulate bars.
Currently the two are scheduled to being their tour in Tucson today, finishing in Santa Barbara on June 28. You can stream the new single below and check out the entire tour dates here.
