Hot on the heels of its Made in USA 997 in an electric “Blue/Yellow” colorway, New Balance is dropping off a breezy “Coastal Pack” infused with seaside-inspired palettes. The trio includes two new editions of the 997 silhouette, as well as a fresh version of the 998.

Within the pack are colors reminiscent of a beachside sunset, including “Orange,” “Apricot” and “Rosa.” The “Orange” 998 style features the bright tone on its toe cap, which is crafted of mesh and suede. Elsewhere on the upper, white leather covers the base while a grey heel and black “N” logo add more neutrals. A lavender detail at the midsole plays off of the tangerine hue for more vibrancy.

Both of the 997 kicks get coated with soft, pastel combinations. The “Apricot” option features sand tones throughout, while a teal midsole and outsole recall the Caribbean Sea. On the “Rosa” model, light pink is layered along the heel, toe cap and tongue, as tan details on the quarter panel further the muted look. It’s accentuated by a marble-printed heel design, lending a nod to the natural rocks found at the beach.

Priced at €220 EUR (approximately $246 USD), the New Balance “Coastal Pack” is available to shop now at 43einhalb’s webstore.

The brand recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of its 1500 trainer by reworking it into a colorful M1500PRT sneaker.
