Cherry Los Angeles Enlists UNITED ARROWS & SONS for Tokyo-Exclusive Capsule Collection
Sporting tie-dyed goods throughout.
Cherry Los Angeles and UNITED ARROWS & SONS have teamed up for a limited edition capsule collection in honor of Japan’s Cherry Blossom season. The Spring/Summer 2019 collaboration is exclusive to a Tokyo, Japan pop-up store in the Shibuya district, and sees a drop that reinterprets staple pieces with sophisticated cuts and unique colorways.
Two key motifs are spotlighted throughout the collection, that being a “WE LOVE YOU” graphic inspired by Cherry Los Angeles’ love for Tokyo, and a splash of tie-dye that is used to distinguish the pieces in this exclusive SS19 drop. The collection sees standout pieces such as a tie-dye dusty pink hoodie and matching jersey shorts featuring the cursive “Protect Your Cherry” slogan, as well as a “WE LOVE YOU” and cherry blossom graphic T-shirt seen in both black and white.
However, it’s the subtlety reworked staples that take centre stage in the collaborative collection. A red rope belt is attached to black chino trousers and is lined with the staple tie-dye print, which matches the tie-dye-lined black chore jacket, delivering a fun and unique clean look.
Rounding off the collaboration is a black co-branded 5-panel cap. The exclusive collection will be available on April 6 – 7th at 4 PM (Tokyo Time), releasing at the UNITED ARROWS & SONS store at 3-28-1 Jingumae Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan.
