With another week here, we now have a new list of notable product drops to look out for. This week’s rollouts feature six releases comprised of collaborations, seasonal collections and special capsules. Dubbed “Teenage Fishing Club,” Seoul-based imprint thisisneverthat‘s SS19 collection investigates a mix of technical gear with streetwear staples. Despite being inspired by styling associated with fishing and tennis, the collection maintains the label’s signature relaxed aesthetic.

As usual bright colors and bold typography-focussed graphics serve to accent the range comprised of light jackets, vests, hoodies, T-shirts, shirts, jeans, trousers, sweats, shorts, caps, bags and more. Some standouts include GORE-TEX outerwear, embroidered duck canvas work pants, sun flap caps and sport functional sunglasses.

maharishi recently put together a capsule collection to introduce some of the themes the brand is set to explore during the SS19 season. Titled “East / West Coalition,” the range continues the label’s military-centric aesthetic in an expression of duality and peace between the Eastern and Western regions of the world.

The standout piece is a Tour Jacket is offered in three colors including olive, black and “blaze orange.” The workwear style silhouette is made up of an Italian-made water-resistant coated cotton and features a panther-snake embroidery at the rear. Inspired by the mythological Greek Chimera and the U.S. Air Force’s 460th Division, the motif is also found on a selection of graphic T-shirts within the assortment. Finishing up the capsule are button-down shirts and other printed T-shirts expressing a “Tigerstripe” camouflage pattern.

For SS19, technical specialists NemeN put together a lineup of jackets, vests, bags and T-shirts marked by a handmade acid dyeing process to create one-of-a-kind pieces.

NemeN took inspiration from industrial filters to craft a super light and durable nylon, while adding Polyurethane lamination for waterproofing to develop the Marking and Revolt Jackets. The label also worked with Japanese bag experts Master-Piece to develop a three-piece capsule consisting of a backpack, helmet bag and sacoche constructed of silver laminated water-repellant materials. In addition to producing custom spray paint cans and markers with art supply company CLASH that fit into the functional Bomber vest and holster found in the collection.

After launching a campaign with Bella Hadid, Versace and KITH are now gearing up to their anticipated gilded collaboration.

Versace’s gold baroque print is expressed on an array of blazers and button-ups, while nylon tracksuits, denim sets and hoodies layer in a more relaxed vibe. A camel hair topcoat and velour puffer bring additional luxury to the outerwear selection. In the footwear category, the label’s 90’s Amico Trainer has been refreshed as a mid-top silhouette, while the popular Chain Reaction sneaker is updated with a new high-top velour design and velcro closures.
