Kellogg’s mascot for its Frosted Flakes (aka Frosties) cereal, Tony the Tiger, has just been converted into a Medicom Toy BE@RBRICK Figure. The iconic mascot was first introduced in 1952, and was voiced by Thurl Ravenscroft for fifty years. Many of those who grew up in North America during the ’90s will remember Tony from his Frosted Flakes TV commercials, where he exhibited an encouraging attitude and shared positive messages with the kids — always ending with his signature catchphrase, “They’re GR-R-REAT!”

While Tony is still present on today’s cereal boxes, Medicom Toy offers another way to re-live the past with the classic looking orange Tony the Tiger in 100%, 400%, and 1000% BE@RBRICK forms. The figures all come in the character’s signature orange-and-white color with tiger stripes, a red bandana, blue nose, and black ears. “Tony” can also be found printed on the graphic bandana. Priced at ¥12,000 JPY (approximately $110 USD) for the 100% + 400% combo, and ¥40,000 JPY (approximately $360 USD) for the 1000% version, the Kellogg’s Tony the Tiger x Medicom Toy BE@RBRICK figures can be found now over at Rakuten, YAHOO! JP, and CJ MART.
