Tokyo-based gallery NANZUKA recently launched an exhibition with adidas Originals. The latest showcase features iconic Japanese artist Keiichi Tanaami’s psychedelic Pop Art works. Large-scale sculptures, paintings, and other art objects are observed throughout the white-walled gallery space. Most notably, each piece features Tanaami’s artistic twist on the athletic label’s “Trefoil” logo and three stripes insignia. Of course, the artist’s signature motifs such as skeletal monsters, mythical creatures, and other fauna from his imaginative world inspired by traditional Japanese folklore are present throughout the works.

Tour the exhibition above and then head over to NANZUKA’s website for further details. “Tanaami x adidas Originals” is on view until March 9.

In other Japan shows, teamLab unveiled a new multi-sensory installation to take place at the Japanese art collective’s digital art museum in Tokyo.
