Brani & Desi Unveils Mondrian-Inspired Interior
Jam-packed with grids and color blocks.
Bulgarian design studio Brani & Desi unveiled its latest audacious interior designs inspired by Dutch abstract artist Piet Mondrian‘s Composition with Red Blue and Yellow from 1929.
As a nod to the De Stijl movement, primary-colored detailing arrives on top of the black and white background; the minimalistic furniture strictly follows the same color scheme, donning the architecture with a luminous environment. The plethora of straight lines not only juxtaposes with the round-shaped lamps and coffee tables, the varying gaps between them also create a sense of depth which makes the interior look more spacious than it really is.
