New Balance 997H Spring Hike Trail Appears in "Lemon Slush"
Featuring Cordura fabrics and alternate branding.

New Balance has been exploring alternate materials and textures on its 997 as of late, and the latest result of these experimentations is the New Balance 997H “Lemon Slush.” A slightly more sturdy take on the streamlined silhouette, it boasts weather-ready fabrics and new graphic embellishments.
Of immediate note is the large branded hit that’s splashed across the midfoot, with a New Balance text logo reaching from the lateral to the medial side. This is placed on top of a black synthetic overlay, which itself sits above a steel grey mesh base. The rest of the upper presents a myriad of different materials, ranging from a shaggy fabric on the heel, to neoprene on the neon yellow tongue and a rugged, fused mudguard. A Cordura tag also appears near the collar, nodding further to the alternate build.
Down below, the ENCAP-cushioned midsole features a speckled grey print. The outsole rounds off the “Lemon Slush” moniker, presenting blue and neon yellow tones to match with the upper’s accents on the tongue and heel tab.
The New Balance 997H “Lemon Slush” is available now on the New Balance webstore. The MSRP is set at $90 USD, a very palatable price for a silhouette equipped with Cordura fabric.
