Lauren London has teamed up with PUMA for its “Forever Stronger” campaign, offering a heartfelt tribute to the late and great Nipsey Hussle. The three-and-a-half-minute clip created by the actress herself and directed by Danny Williams remains a heartfelt tribute to London’s late boyfriend. Throughout the video, she drives through the streets of Crenshaw and Slauson, where Nipsey was raised. This is overlaid with London reciting a poignant poem from Nipsey’s sister Samantha Smith.

“I got a question only Lord knows: Does life birth us twice?” she asks, referencing herself as the mother to Nipsey’s son Kross. The piece ends with a zooming-out shot of London as she stands front-and-center in Crenshaw on a palm tree-lined street, the same place where the couple stood in their GQ piece before his untimely passing.

“This piece was a creative vision Lauren wanted to bring to life to signify the continuation of her marathon alongside PUMA. Forever Stronger,” the YouTube description shares. Earlier this September, PUMA and Nipsey’s The Marathon Clothing teamed for a tribute collection with all net proceeds going to his Neighborhood Nip Foundation.

For more fashion news, Beyoncé has teased the forthcoming IVY PARK x adidas collection.
