KFC & SANDALBOYZ Honor Indonesia, Fried Chicken & Colonel Sanders in Capsule Collection

Los Angeles-based cultural imprint SANDALBOYZ has partnered with KFC Indonesia for a capsule collection centered around a pair of fittingly-themed Court Slides.
The slides on offer play on KFC’s iconic branding as they are adorned with slogans such as “SANDALBOYZ Original Recipe” and sport Colonel Sanders’ face, as well as the fast-food chain’s logo on the slides’ footbridges. The clean white base is contrasted by the red-and-white colorway synonymous with KFC, while the duo pay homage to SANDALBOYZ’s Indonesian roots and the 750-plus restaurants in the country with the saying “Jagonya Ayam!” which translates to “Chicken Experts,” a term coined by KFC Indonesia when sponsoring the racing driver Sean Gelael.
Aside from the Court Slides, KFC and SANDALBOYZ deliver T-shirts, hoodies, shorts, and socks each adorned with the duo’s co-branding, as well as watercolor-esque depictions of Colonel Sanders and a KFC food stand.
The collection will be available for a limited time only at a KFC x SANDALBOYZ pop-up store inside a KFC restaurant in Jakarta on December 14. Prices will range from approximately $15 USD for the socks and up to $95 USD for a hoodie, with the prized sandals retailing for $75 USD.
