For those who thought that Hot Wheels , rice cookers and riot shields would represent peak Anti Social Social Club collaboration, the brand has one more trick up its sleeve for the end of the decade. Just ahead of New Year’s Eve glitz, Anti Social Social Club is preparing to roll out a bejeweled Ed Hardy collaboration.

Tattoo legend Don Ed Hardy began licensing his name in the early 2000s, expanding from clothing alone into hats, accessories, and perfume. The Ed Hardy exploded in popularity once Christian Audigier acquired a license, enjoying maximum impact just prior to the ’10s, beloved by celebrities like Paris Hilton and Sarah Larson. A decade later, Anti Social Social Club has recruited the divisive imprint for a China-exclusive capsule, utilizing Ed Hardy’s maximalist design cues to inform ASSC’s branded hoodies and T-shirts. A red hoodie offers co-branding on the sleeves and an illustrative dragon weaving throughout the text, while a shirt boasts two large, branded tiger head applications; on both,shiny studs accent the large ASSC logos on the rear.

Look for the Ed Hardy collaboration to launch exclusively on Anti Social Social Club’s Chinese website December 28.

Most recently, ASSC launched its UNDEFEATED collaboration.
