Dior Pre-Fall 2020 Brings Surfer Prints, Graffiti-Style Jewelry & Air Jordan 1s to Miami
Showcasing goods designed with Shawn Stussy, Jordan Brand, Yoon Ahn and Matthew M. Williams.
Dior has presented its Pre-Fall 2020 menswear collection in Miami, showcasing a line-up of clothing sporting artwork provided by Shawn Stussy, buckle accessories crafted by Matthew M. Williams and jewelry by AMBUSH’s Yoon Ahn.
Taking the world by storm, however, is the unveiling of the Kim Jones-designed Air Jordan 1 High OG. The sneakers were worn on the runway by models and showcase an unlikely collaboration between the historic fashion house and Jordan Brand, aligning with the silhouette’s 35th anniversary.
Aside from the Air Jordan 1, onlookers — which included the likes of Travis Scott, David Beckham and Kim Kardashian — were keen to see the Shawn Stussy-designed pieces. Notable pieces exhibited on the runway include a limited-edition metal saddle bag, as well as various garments sporting a reworked graffiti-indebted version of the Dior moniker. Shawn Stussy’s unique approach has resulted in Dior delivering bold prints for its selection of bags, shirts and more, with notable pieces including a navy-and-white psychedelic-print overcoat, a purple-and-green knitted polo shirt, and a surfing-inspired black-and-white two-piece.
Elsewhere, Dior’s Pre-Fall range presents tailoring paired with snakeskin accessories such as its loafers adorned with the new graffiti logo, bold snakeskin-print trousers, a line-up of Yoon Ahn-designed jewelry and a variety of accessories ranging from bucket hats to saddle bags, side bags, totes and more.
