Back in August, Daily Paper celebrated its heritage with a Fall/Winter 2019 collection that drew upon aesthetics of Afrofuturism. The Amsterdam-based label is now presenting its end-of-season editorial featuring key FW19 pieces with the purpose of “communicating a new world where gender is undefined and freedom of expression is an absolute.”

Shot in the Moroccan desert by photographer Mous Lamrabat, the editorial explores the North African landscape through an otherworldly, futuristic lens. The anonymity of the models reveals how in an ideal world, individuals would not have to be labeled by “gender, color or ethnicity.” Daily Paper expresses freedom of individuality, strength and confidence through self-expression and universal oneness with powerful visuals that incorporate the brand’s forward-thinking pieces.

Traditional suiting merges with retro-futuristic styling in the highlighted range of unconventional staples. The editorial showcases pants and coats in a “Green Snake” print, along with reflective purple puffer jackets, “Blue Snake” jumpsuits and striped dresses. Graphic T-shirts feature solar system-indebted prints that are inspired by the concept of belonging to both the future and past, “where identity is an unfinished conversation and heritage is a departing point of creativity.”

Check out the FW19 editorial in the gallery above and head over to Daily Paper’s website to shop the looks now.

In other news, Awake NY has released a look at hoodies, flannel shirts, T-shirts and socks as part of its second drop for Fall/Winter 2019.
