Alexander Wang & adidas Originals Present Their Sixth and Final Collection
The FW19 range, dubbed “Club Leisure,” features kicks, outerwear, apparel and bags.

Concluding a longstanding relationship, Alexander Wang and adidas Originals have presented their FW19 collection — the duo’s sixth and final collaborative effort. Conceptualized around a “Club Leisure” theme, the latest offering from Wang and adidas aims to bring a futuristic edge to footwear, garments and accessories, designing the entire range with clubbing & chilling in mind. Although each piece from the unisex collection is rooted in classic streetwear, it also nods to Wang’s overarching theme of empowered femininity.
Three footwear silhouettes serve as a central point: the Turnout Trainer, Puff Trainer and Bball Soccer. Each arrives in a duo of colorways and features Wang’s signature flipped adidas branding plus bold graphic hits. The Turnout Trainer takes on a modernized look with its space-style synthetic upper, unique lacing system and high-cut sock collar. Meanwhile, the Puff Trainer and Bball Soccer lean more towards the classic end of the spectrum, offering ripstop, mesh or suede constructions complete with thick midsoles.
This trio of kicks is accompanied by a full selection of apparel, ranging from bold puffer jackets to track tops and undergarments. Using stark black and striking metallic silver hues, the apparel presents a bold branded look, with select items drawing inspiration from retro cycling performance wear. Finally, a duo of co-branded duffel bags complete the offerings.
A proper sendoff for a potent partnership, the Alexander Wang and adidas Originals FW19 collection will release on adidas.com and at select stockists come December 14.
adidas has been on quite the collaborative run as of late: the brand recently teamed with British multihyphanate Blondey McCoy for a see-through Superstar accompanied by special socks.
