After teasing the latest “Figures of Speech” exhibition following its week-long extension at Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, riotous designer-meets-creative director Virgil Abloh has opened the latest installment of his famed installation at Atlanta’s High Museum of Art. With the opening of the exhibition taking place earlier this week on November 12, the museum has now offered an in-depth look inside Abloh’s updated milestone project.

Maintaining the 20-year survey that explores the pivotal moment’s of Abloh’s career alongside fashion, furniture, music, design, and graphics, the latest iteration of “Figures of Speech” expands the previous, incorporating new works and additional community works by Brendan Fowler, Caramel Bobby, and Tremaine Emory. Throughout the updated exhibition, Abloh continues to exemplify dialogue — he highlights his inventive use of language and quotation marks, further turning objects and clothing he has designed over the years into what he deems “figures of speech.”

Take a look at the exhibition via the gallery above. It’s currently on display from November 12 to March 8, 2020, at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta. Following the exhibit’s tenure in the city, it will move to Boston and then Brooklyn. Like the MCA Chicago rendition, various specially-designed merch is offered at the museum’s store — you can check out a variety of the pieces via the embeds below.
