Kith Breaks Down Eight Decades of Mickey Mouse in New Disney Collaboration

Including ‘Steamboat Willie’, ‘Running Mickey’, ‘Fantasia Mickey’, and more.

Originally previewed during the 2019 Kith Air Fashion show, Kith is finally offering an official first look of its upcoming collaboration with Disney. Although Kith recently collaborated with Disney on an Iceberg collection, this particular collab ranks as one of Kith’s biggest collaborations to date. It also marks the first time Disney has ever given so much creative control to a collaboration partner.

The collection features Mickey Mouse through 8 decades of various appearances, including Steamboat Willie (1920), Running Mickey (1930), and Fantasia Mickey (1940). Each variation is meant to highlight the hallmark character’s progression through the years, and the signature pieces reflect his eclectic history through its new fabrications.

The assortment spans approximately 80 – styles of co-branded apparel, footwear, and accessories for adults and kids. These items include creates an assortment of denim styles, double pocket hoodies, trucker jackets, and kimonos. Kith has also used Converse’s Chuck Taylor 1970 silhouette for three different Mickey Mouse-themed colorways.
