Star Wars and adidas Originals have crafted a character-themed six-shoe pack with special versions of the NMD R1 and Nite Jogger that nod to Darth Vader, Yoda, Rey, Princess Leia, R2-D2 and stormtroopers. Following hot on the heels of a lightsaber-inspired adidas Basketball pack and a spacecraft-centric adidas Running capsule, this is the third and final adidas x Star Wars pack to release before The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters later this December.

Things are kicked off by the quartet of adidas NMD R1s representing Darth Vader, Yoda, Leia and Rey. Vader’s shoe takes on a sinister black and red colorway with “Join me and we can rule the galaxy” stamped on the heel. Meanwhile, Yoda’s NMD presents the same black base, but accents it with a tranquil green and his famous “Do or do not. There is no try” aphorism. Each features a stripe running up the toebox as a nod to its respective character’s lightsaber.

Meanwhile, Rey and Leia’s women’s-sized silhouettes offer a different look. Rey’s design opts for a sandy tan base that seemingly draws from her home world of Jakku, with a bright blue lightsaber stripe. “Light. Darkness. A balance” arrives on the heel to complete the look. Leia, meanwhile, opts for an airbrushed camo on her NMDs, a possible nod to the battle of Endor. Gold accents offer regal flair, and “Hope” is emblazoned on the heel.

R2-D2’s Nite Joggers combine white, blue and silver for a spot-on nod to his signature colors, while also offering chromed-out accents for a nod to his metallic body. The lovable droid himself is present on the tongue, and special details hit the BOOST midsole. Last but not least, the stormtrooper’s sneaker nods to the iconic armor worn by Imperial foot soldiers with a crisp white colorway accented by hits of white and grey. “Open the blast doors!” on the heel salutes yet another piece of Star Wars lore.

The 6 shoes in the adidas Originals x Star Wars “Character Pack” will release on adidas.com December 2nd, accompanied by special apparel. Prices range from $50 USD to $130 USD.

Elsewhere in the world of adidas, the brand recently gave its EQT Gazelle a stark “Silver/Grey” colorway.
