The original sneaker was the first in the SL — Super Light — line-up and paved the way for adidas’ running heritage as the Three Stripes continued to develop specialist models such as the SL76 and SL80. For this faithfully remade retro, adidas Originals has implemented all of the core design features found on its streamlined profile, from the lightweight tongue to the slim sole unit and the combination of breathable nylon mesh and suede forming its upper.
It comes in an OG colorway of “Blue/Ftwr White,” which is complemented by a red, blue and off-white sole unit that sports shark-tooth traction and a carved-out adidas logo. In true adidas Originals fashion, the SL76 is rounded off with zig-zag cut Three Stipes, a myriad of Trefoil logos and a printed insole.
