Another fixture, another pre-game cleat from fashion icon Odell Beckham Jr. This time around the Cleveland Browns wide receiver pays homage to Halloween with two pairs of cleats inspired by Nike’s 2009 Air Force 1 Low “Savage Beast.”
Just like the original, these OBJ-exclusives are dressed in full pony hair and sport the player’s initials outlined in contrasting white. The more festive iterations sport a vibrant orange colorway – which matches the Browns’ uniform — and have been embellished with Jack-o-lantern detailing on the toebox in two different faces. Seen on the lateral portion of the cleat is the number “13” marked in red, blood-like font. The Jack-o-lantern cleat is then finished off with black ankle supports.
The first cleat appeared pre-game during Cleveland Browns’ away game against the New England Patriots on Sunday, October 27, while the Jack-o-lantern inspired cleat appeared in-game. Peep them both above. The ongoing partnership with Nike and OBJ includes designs inspired by some of the player’s favorite shoes and athletes.
