Missoni Updates adidas PulseBoost HD for Latest Collaboration
Mixing colorful knitwear with athletic innovation.
Italian house Missoni has reunited with adidas Consortium for the second running-themed collaboration between the two brands. The latest silhouette to be given the Missoni treatment is the PulseBoost HD, which is reworked with the label’s signature colorful knitwear aesthetic transferred to its upper.
Three pairs are set to release later this month in “Raw White/Ftwr White/Active Orange,” “Tech Mint/Core Burgundy” and “Core Burgundy/Core Black.” The first features a knitted upper with hits of bold orange, teal, black and off-white in a number of patterns. This is finished with white Three Stripe branding, a full-length Boost midsole and “Active Orange” tongue tabs.
The left tongue tab features adidas’ insignia, while the second bears the PulseBoost’s signature QR code, which allows you to link to a custom Spotify playlist. The “Tech Mint” colorway brings another multicolored stripe look with blue, burgundy, yellow and black lines adorning its upper. This pair is complemented by a set of bold burgundy Three Stripes and a sole unit featuring yellow and black segments.
Rounding off the collection is the predominantly block-colored “Core Burgundy” offering, which sports a solid upper that is graced with multicolored knitting on the heel tab and forefoot. Yellow tongue tags and teal stripes set off this Fall-ready iteration.
