Following their collaborative rubber duckie unveiled last week, F.C. Real Bristol and READYMADE have returned, this time showcasing the rest of the collaboration, celebrating Sohpnet.’s — F.C.R.B.’s parent company — 20th annivesary. The collection highlights utilitarian designs that shine over a concise range of hi-tech garments.
The capsule spans light half-zip anoraks, puffer jackets, modular pants, water-repellent nylon parkas, shorts, long-sleeves and a storage unit, alongside the previously seen BE@RBRICK and rubber duckie. One highlight of the collection is the half-zip anorak. The piece comes with flame and smiley face motifs emblazoned across the sleeves. “BRISTOL” branding is stamped at the upper left chest, just above where “READYMADE” is placed in a contrasting white font. The back of the piece sees “F.C.R.B.” in a tonal print, while a thick white streak is placed along the yoke.
Another noteworthy garment is the multi-pocketed nylon parka. It comes with two large zipper compartments at the front body, which opens up to three camo-tinged pouches that can be detached and shifted around with its magnetic backings. This feature is also seen on a pair of olive field pants that’s made up of delicate US army tent cloth. Other garments like the puffer jacket, long-sleeve and storage container round-up the functional capsule.
The READYMADE x F.C. Real Bristol 20th Anniversary collection will be available at soph.net on November 2, 2019.
