A rare Emory Motorsports restomod 1959 Porsche 356A Sunroof Coupe has been listed for auction via Bring A Trailer. The made-to-order car is a restored classic, commissioned by the seller to be built as if  Juan Carlos I of Spain had special ordered it to rally it around the countryside.

As a result, this Emory Motorsports-special channels the automotive customizer’s go-to vintage racing aesthetic. It comes with a set of Dunlop SP Sport 5000 tires featuring raised yellow lettering, custom five-bolt wheels, and a new rounded GT car-inspired nose and tail-end body kit, equipped with leather straps to keep the front hood locked down. Rounding off its reworked heritage look is a set of custom stainless steel GT-style mesh guards on the headlights, and Marchal fog lights that are recessed into the body.

Emory Motorsport equipped the 356A with a 2.4-liter Outlaw flat-four engine that produces 205 BHP, and finished the classic in Porsche’s unique paint “GT Silver,” taken from its modern-classic hypercar, the Carrera GT. Inside, you can find seats upholstered in saddle brown leather with Spinneybeck woven inserts in the center, as well as an all-around restored vintage look.

Take a look at the 1959 Porsche 356A Emory Outlaw Sunroof Coupe in the gallery above. It is currently listed online with a rising bid of $282,356 USD.

In other automotive news, this 1997 Acura Integra Type R recently sold for $82,000 USD.
