Yasiin Bey Blends His Bars with Kanye West's Beats for "Bey Ye" Set
A unique, very special spin on his usual live act.

Over the weekend, Yasiin Bey hit the stage at Los Angeles’ Regent Theater, performing a special set that included his bars over beats that Kanye West previously used for some of his own past releases — all of which are instantly recognizable and could be looked at as “fan favorites.” Now, courtesy of Instagram user @gowherehiphop, video footage of the aforementioned set — dubbed “Bey Ye” — has surfaced.
Notably, Yasiin Bey decided to blend “Ms. Fat Booty” with “Devil in a New Dress,” “Mathematics” with “New God Flow,” “Black Skinhead” with “Quiet Dog” and more. Along with his own live reworks, the Dec. 99th rapper also performed his “Two Words” collaboration with Kanye and Freeway, which initially appeared on the former artist’s legendary 2004 studio album The College Dropout.
You can check out @gowherehiphop’s footage from Yasiin Bey’s “Bey Ye” show in Los Angeles below. Yasiin also collaborated with Kid Cudi and Kanye West for one of their Kids See Ghosts tracks.
