White Mountaineering Collaborates With adidas & Danner for FW19

Multi-layered goodness.

Gearing up for the Fall/Winter 2019 season ahead, White Mountaineering has just debuted its latest collection packed full of collaborative efforts.

Taking on the themes of “Imbalance” and “Mutation,” the layer-heavy looks included Yosuke Aizawa’s design codes such as standout graphic prints and utilitarian details. Seeing jackets paired over jackets and blanket coats over sweaters, each multi-layered look was then highlighted with either a buckled harness, knit face mask or some sort of head brace contraption. With a goal of fighting off the winter elements, a mix of technical fabrics from GORE-TEX, wool and nylon were incorporated into the eye-catching looks.

Like its prior Spring/Summer 2019 collection featuring a team-up with Eastpak, White Mountaineering this time turns the focus onto its footwear, joining forces with both adidas and Danner on a trail sneaker and hiking boot, respectively. Eastpak again shows up with utility vests and a team up with French heritage brand Millet saw a few collaborative outerwear items.

Take a look at White Mountaineering’s Fall/Winter 2019 offerings in the photoset above and be sure to keep up with our Paris Fashion Week coverage.
