Kicking off the new year, this week’s list of notable product drops features six releases comprised of collaborations and seasonal collections. Leading this week’s offerings is Cav Empt‘s highly anticipated collaboration with Nike.
Some other standout partnerships this week include a team up from enigmatic label Psychworld and emerging British designer Jim Longden, along with a joint-effort between PLEASURES and Japanese label monkey time. Entering the new year, Maison Margiela recently released pieces from its Pre-Spring 2019 collection.
Highlighted in an office set HBX editorial, the range focuses on defining transitional period pieces. The usual complex garments from the French fashion house come accompanied by neon-tinged and oversized accessories and sneakers. Some notable items featured include the textured Reversible Knitted Zip-Up Cardigan, high visibility Transparent Shopper Bag, puffy Glam Slam Bags and Fusion Low Top Sneakers.

Continuing to build its in-house line, Shanghai retailer DOE released a new cold weather ready FW18 collection.
Leading the range is a set of technical parkas in muted tones, elevated by fleece-lined hoods that reveal DOE markings when unzipped. Accompanying the outerwear is an array of chenille and embroidery branded hoodies, sweaters and beanies.

Not skipping a beat, NIGO recently dropped the latest SS19 collection of his HUMAN MADE label.
The new range expands on the mixture of Japanese craftsmanship and Americana influences that has become a defining aesthetic of HUMAN MADE. Standout pieces include a powder blue flight jacket with supple leather accents, a beautifully-reimagined tanker jacket, and the “Gears of Futuristic Teenagers” wool coat.

After an initial reveal, Cav Empt and Nike are now gearing up to release its collaborative capsule collection.
The special range is centered around C.E. founders, Sk8thing and Toby Feltwell‘s, take on the Air Max 95 footwear model. Done in two colorways, the Cav Empt x Nike AM95 features a uniquely digital camo pattern applied all over the shoe.
Accompanying the sneaker is a collaborative garment range comprised of a tracksuit, jersey, vest and cap. Referencing Nike’s vintage sportswear archive, the pieces come decorated with C.E’s signature name embroidery and an array of evocative coded graphics, patterns and appliques.

Building on its series of releases, mysterious collective Psychworld recently linked up with young British designer Jim Longden on a limited tracksuit release. Comprised of zip-up track tops and bottoms, the range is defined by around a large arched Psychworld front logo and Longden’s signature Capo phrase at the rear.

Adding to its growing line up of collaborations, PLEASURES teamed up with monkey time for a new graphic heavy capsule.
Leading the team up are black and beige hoodie emblazoned with an obscured bold-face motif, a stylized heart print and evocative text. Finishing up the collection is a yellow check shirt and cargo pants that both come accented by “PLEASURES” embroidery.
