Standout partnerships include a re-release of 21 Savage and Martine Ali‘s “Black Collection,” Columbia and atmos LAB‘s new plaid centric capsule and some new BE@RBRICKS from BAPE. Alongside, a Farfetch exclusive from Balenciaga brings awareness to threatened species and the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature). Rounding things up is the Spring/Summer 2019 collection from lauded label YSTRDY’S TMRRW.
Balenciaga Exclusive Farfetch Capsule
Looking to bring awareness to threatened species and supporting the conservation actions of the IUCN, Balenciaga has teamed up with Farfetch for an exclusive release. The collection is comprised of new animal-themed pieces and new takes on some of the luxury label’s current signature items.
Hoodies, T-shirts and bags feature illustrations of the Northern White Rhinoceros, the Asian Elephant, the Blue Whale and the Giant Panda. Some standout footwear options include new colorways of both the Speed Trainer and TRACK silhouettes. A portion of proceeds generated from sales of the exclusive release will be donated to the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
YSTRDY’S TMRRW Spring/Summer 2019 Collection
For SS19, YSTRDY’S TMRRW drew inspiration from a fascination between old and new within Europe and Belgium.
Featured in an editorial by retailer COVERCHORD, the collection is dominated by easy-going layers and eye-catching bronze accessories seamlessly blending European influence with YSTRDY’S TMRRW’s signature ’90s design ethos. Notable pieces include the grey Buckingham Palace hooded sweater and the sleek black leather blouson that offers versatile layering options.
21 Savage x Martine Ali “Black Collection” Re-Release
The striking accessories were inspired by the album’s black and grey art direction and elements 21 Savage’s personal style. A distinct black metal finish accents the range comprised of keychains, wallet chains, necklaces, bracelets and a cage-like bag.
atmos LAB x Columbia Plaid Capsule
This time around, the packable garments are dressed with atmos LAB’s original tartan pattern and designed to highlight the technical construction of the pieces. Accompanying the reiterations are similarly decorated all-over print, black with checkered pattern and yellow with checkered pattern hooded Pavlof Road Jackets. All items found in the collaboration are constructed of Columbia’s trademarked Omni-Shield material to protect against dirt and rain.
2 MONCLER 1952 Collection
Expressing the evolution of the Italian label, the new contemporary range reinterprets classic outerwear by playing with volumes, textures and shapes. A unique mix of technical and precious textiles — like laqué nylon and printed crêpe de chine — are paired with bold patterns to create a sense of visual vibrancy. Additionally, Moncler’s signature logo is exaggerated to serve as a defining detail element.
BAPE x Medicom Toy 1ST CAMO SHARK & Baby Milo BE@RBRICKS
The new Chogokin variations are centered around the Japanese clothing label’s signature 1ST CAMO SHARK hoodie in green and yellow camo and the recognizable Baby Milo character. Bringing together the best of BAPE, BE@RBRICK and Chogokin, each figure is outfitted with an articulated frame complete with a variation of moveable joints for a diverse set of poses.
