The Cinematic Orchestra Announce New Album, Drop First Single Featuring Roots Manuva
With more features from Moses Sumney, Heidi Vogel, Tawiah and Grey Reverend.
British nu jazz and electronic group The Cinematic Orchestra, responsible for iconic classics like “To Build a Home,” recently took to Twitter to announce their new album, To Believe, dropping their first single off the forthcoming project.
The first single off the album, titled “A Caged Bird/Imitations of Life,” brings forth the groups signature orchestral sound paired with some powerfully poetic rapping and vocals by hardened-veteran of the UK scene, Roots Manuva. The lush single is nothing short of menacing, and running close to 7-minutes it maintains itself as an aurally-pleasing journey.
As revealed by the group, the new album is shaping up to be a very promising project, and will also be toting features from notable artists like Moses Sumney, Heidi Vogel, Grey Reverend and Tawiah.
Be sure to listen to the new single above while the full album can be pre-ordered via cinematicorchestra.com, and will dropping on March 15.
