'Madden NFL 19' Predicts the Los Angeles Rams Will Win Super Bowl LIII
Against all odds.
In celebration of the release of Madden NFL 19 Ultimate Super Bowl Edition, EA Sports used the game to predict the winner of Super Bowl LIII taking place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Ahead of the game this Sunday, against all betting odds, the game has predicted that the Los Angeles Rams will defeat Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, 30-27.
The breakdown of how the simulated game unfolded reveals that the Pats will lead the first half 17-3, but settle with a 20-20 tie to end the third quarter. Despite taking back the lead at the start of the fourth quarter, the Rams will ultimately best the two-time defending American Football Conference champs with a championship-winning touchdown from Todd Gurley. LA Rams defensive tackle, Aaron Donald, is set to be the Super Bowl MVP, breaking the Super Bowl sack record in the prediction match.
