After becoming the most streamed artist on Spotify last June, J Balvin is now breaking barriers in the fashion realm via a new GUESS partnership, making him the first Latin man to front a campaign in the brand’s history. In addition to starring in the lookbook images, the artist designed the 42-piece “Vibras” collection, named after his fifth and latest studio album.

The range offers clothing and accessories for men and women including graphic T-shirts, hoodies, denim jackets, windbreakers and tracksuits. To embody the energy of the “Vibras” theme, tie-dye treatments, color-blocked designs and a vivid palette of hues were used to evoke the essence of Miami in the 1990s. The capsule will also encompass limited-edition boxing shorts and swimwear, as well as a GUESS Vibras fanny pack.

Set to release in GUESS stores and shop.guess.com, the GUESS x J Balvin “GUESS Vibras” collaboration will launch January 31. In the meantime, catch up on J Balvin’s recent cameo in BMXer Nigel Sylvester’s GO series.
