City Girls & Cardi B Throw a Crazy Dance Party for NSFW "Twerk" Video

Towards the end of last November, City Girls reconnected with their Quality Control cohort Lil Baby for the official video in support of their collaborative cut “Season.” Now, revisiting their 2018 album once more, City Girls have decided to link up with Cardi B again for a new visual for the trio’s own Girl Code collaboration and single, “Twerk.” Staying true to the record’s title, the “Twerk” clip has one primary focus: showcasing the twerking skills of several different women.
“The day that me and JT chose to do ‘Twerk’, we had went to the studio. And we had wanted to do New Orleans bounce, a song kind of like ‘In My Feelings,’ Yung Miami previously explained to Genius, breaking down the origins of “Twerk.” ” Because we don’t have a twerk song. So we wanted to do a twerk song. Something that’s gone make you wanna dance when you hear it so we went with that song. We went with ‘Twerk.’”
