Adult Swim’s “Singles” series is back with another star-studded collab.
After dropping MF DOOM and Ghostface Killah’s DOOMSTARKS cut “Lively Hood” just a few weeks back, Adult Swim’s “Singles” series has dropped another star-studded collab. Dubbed WOKE, the release sees Flying Lotus and Thundercat linking up with Seattle-based experimental hip-hop outfit Shabazz Palaces as they enlist the help of P-Funk architect George Clinton for “The Lavishments of Light Looking.” Given the names involved, the track sounds just as you might imagine: like a funky, bass-driven, otherworldly epic.
