The Weeknd's Entire 'Beauty Behind the Madness' Is on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Chart
Only the sixth artist in the Hot 100’s 57-year history with 10 or more tracks on the list at the same time.

Selling 326,000 copies in its first week of release, The Weeknd‘s sophomore album — Beauty Behind the Madness – continues to rack up a long list of firsts for the young artist. The project helped Abel earn his first No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 chart, as well as his first No.1 single on the Hot 100 with “Can’t Feel My Face.” Like his fellow Toronto-resident Drake, the XO-founder has now managed to get the entirety of an album, his Beauty Behind the Madness, on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart. There are currently 10 tracks (eight debuted this week) off the project listed, combined with the previously-released ”Often” and “Earned It,” with the whole album comprehensively spending some time on the chart. With only 50 spots available, that gives The Weeknd 20 percent of the total share — the most songs ever tallied by a non-rapper in a single week. Beauty Behind the Madness has already broken a Billboard record altogether, when The Weeknd earned all three top spots with songs off the album, which can be purchased on iTunes now.
