UPDATE: Yayoi Kusama: Festival of Life is now available to pre-order at David Zwirner Books’ online shop and Amazon for $70 USD. Shipping will commence on September 25.

Article originally published on August 15, 2018: David Zwirner Books is set to publish a new monograph entitled Yayoi Kusama: Festival of Life with text by art historian, Jenni Sorkin.

Ahead of its release this September, we offer an exclusive look at several pages that chronicle the iconic Japanese artist’s room-size presentations and installations. The book also provides in-depth detail and visuals of Kusama’s fashion collaborations, design, films, and architectural interventions. Highlights include the artist’s exhibition at David Zwirner’s Chelsea location in New York in late 2017, paintings from her monumental My Eternal Soul series, large-scale flower sculptures, as well as two Infinity Mirror rooms. Conclusively, each hardcover book arrives with a special fold-out poster.
