Ed Sheeran and Lil Uzi Vert Team up at the VMAs for "Shape of You/XO TOUR Llif3" Performance
An unlikely pairing.
During Ed Sheeran‘s performance of his hit single “Shape of You” tonight at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards, Lil Uzi Vert took to the stage to join him in what seemed to be an unofficial remix of the song. Returning the favor, Ed stayed on stage to cover Lil Uzi Vert’s smash hit “XO Tour Llif3.”
This year, Sheeran is nominated for the Artist of the Year category, with his “Shape of You” music video in the running for Best Pop Video, and “Castle on the Hill” for Best Cinematography. Earlier on in the night, Uzi took home the Song of the Summer award for “XO Tour Llif3.”
