Because of Drake, Apple Music Reportedly Threatened TIDAL With $20 Million Lawsuit

It was reported Drake might make an appearance at Lil Wayne‘s Lil WeezyAna Fest in New Orleans tonight, which was to benefit for Tunechi’s Tha Carter Fund on Hurricane Katrina’s 10th anniversary. According to PageSix, Apple Music threatened TIDAL with a $20 million lawsuit because of that. Although information of Drake’s deal with Apple isn’t available for public access, his cross-platform appearance could constitute a breach of contract. A source revealed to PageSix:
“Legal letters have been sent to Tidal warning that Drake cannot appear on the TIDAL stream of the festival, either solo or part of a group, and if the warning was ignored, the liabilities could be up to $20 million,” a source reportedly told PageSix.”
