Nike Air Max 270 Futura "Dark Stucco/Newsprint" Pushes the Dad Shoe Trend to the Limit

Are we over it?

There’s no denying that Nike‘s Air Max 270 Futura model is clinging on to every final stretch of the dad shoe trend, and though the hybrid model gets some support with the modern Air Max 270 heel bag, the success of the model still lies heavily on the colorway. The latest scheme to fall on our radar is a polarizing “Dark Stucco/Newsprint” look, which pulls the ugly sneaker trend to its ugliest extreme.

This pair’s multi-textile upper takes on various shades of grey and olive with bright orange accents at the heel counter, lace eyelets tongue trim and heel outsole. Hits of white chop up the look even more, arriving via the leather Swoosh, laces and midsole, while a transparent Air Max 270 heel bag draws in the modern element.

Those interested can pick up the Nike Air Max 270 Futura “Dark Stucco/Newsprint” now for $140 USD at Finish Line and select Nike retailers. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and for a more up-to-date sneaker trend, check out Lanvin’s Fall/Winter 2018 footwear model.
