adidas Originals Reissues its Classic Samba Silhouette in Monochrome Colorways
Including a subtle update on the silhouette.
After previewing new summer-ready NMD R1 colorways, adidas Originals has returned to one of its classic silhouettes for its next release. The new Samba pack sees the indoor football sneaker come in a one-for-one reproduction of its original 1950s design.
This design includes a full leather construction across the upper, with suede used for the T-toe panel and contrasting leather on the 3-stripe branding and heel tab. Other features include gold foil Samba branding and a translucent gum midsole. The reissued silhouette is set to come in either black or white.
As well as the classic colorways, the pack also features an updated take on the sneaker. The third and final Samba silhouette comes with an oversized fold-down tongue as well as tonal grey touches on the heel and tongue. The full capsule is set to release worldwide on June 1.
The Samba silhouette also features in new World Cup-themed capsules from BAPE, White Mountaineering and NEIGHBORHOOD.
