Pentatonic is on a mission to create premium furniture and products entirely out of post-consumer waste such as food, electrical, plastic, and textile disposables. The emerging company recently teamed up with Snarkitecture on a special range of “Fractured” furniture.

Pentatonic’s eco-friendly approach to crafting furniture beautifully collides with the NYC-based design studio’s innovative design concepts, creating this special offering that is comprised of a modular bench and table. Each item is made of two components, appearing to be surgically severed when apart and seamlessly conjoined when manually formed together.

“We were drawn to Pentatonic, and the possibility of multiplying one thing to create a million different outcomes through circularity and modularity,” Daniel Arsham of Snarkitecture told HYPEBEAST. Pentatonic founder Jamie Hall added: “Snarkitecture’s obsession with exploring materials to create beautiful expressions of artistic, architectural and cultural collisions was a fascinating filter to apply to our product proposition.”

Watch the video below to learn more about the “Fractured” collection and visit Pentatonic’s official website to preorder each item now. An official release is expected for this March 15 at 4 pm CET. Conclusively, prices range approximately between $2,464 USD and $3,080 USD.

In related news, Snarkitecture is gearing up to launch its very first monograph this April 2.
