A Look Inside Slam Jam's New York City Pop-Up
Foosball tournaments and exclusive gear.
Italy’s Slam Jam recently set up shop in New York City, offering an array of curated goods, collaborative items and even competitive foosball sponsored by Kappa Kontroll.
The pop-up debuted on a Saturday, with attendees competing in a casual foosball tournament, with the victors receiving bespoke Kappa jackets. A DJ set and performance from Standing On The Corner was accompanied by bites from Bronx-based chefs Ghetto Gastro, informing the complete party atmosphere.
Following its bombastic opening, the pop-up brought together exclusive goods from clothing imprints like 424 and ROA along with art from NYC creative Kalen Hollomonthe for five days. One of the pop-up’s most notable drops was Denim Tears‘s exclusive New York Fashion Week-centric tee. Elsewhere host of art, fashion and culture magazines were on hand, including a selection of goods from Office Magazine, which offered both magazines and clothing from the brand’s fashion label.
Although Slam Jam’s NYC pop-up has shuttered, Justin Timberlake‘s Man of the Woods-focused pop-up is prepping for its February 9 debut.
