The Rick Owens Geobasket Emerges in "Iron"
A clean slate for spring.
Although most Rick Owens devotees likely prefer more subdued hues, the designer is serving up a seasonally-appropriate colorway of his iconic Geobasket sneaker. So-called “Iron,” it sees the shoe executed in a rosy shade and earthy midsole.
The all-grain upper is granted a tonal remake, offering a pumice-hued alternative to the traditionally monochrome shoe. Complementary accents are seen on the tongue and piping, while a gum sole and matching laces offer contrast. Normal detailing is also on hand, including silver zippers for easy access, perforations on the toe and signature Rick Owens branding inside the tongue.
