Chance the Rapper Models Joe Freshgoods' "Thank You Obama" Collection
And is reportedly planning a major arena tour.

Chicago-based designer Joe Freshgoods has tapped fellow Chicago native Chance the Rapper to model his “Thank You Obama” collection. The range pays homage to the 44th President of the United States and his family. Pieces include graphic T-shirts, denim jackets, jerseys and more. According to the designer, “With this project I wanted to timestamp a period in my life where I felt like I can do whatever I wanted to do and be whatever I wanted to be. The night Obama won his first term gave me so much hope, especially and most importantly as a black man. I decided to make a collection saying ‘thank you’ and give me something to smile at every now and then when I look in the closet.” Shop the collection here.
Additionally, Chance the Rapper’s agent Cara Lewis mentioned in an interview with Billboard that they’re planning a major arena tour in the U.S. “Our first date paid 500 dollars. Now Chance is headlining all the major festivals and will embark on a 40-city arena tour,” said Lewis. Read the full interview at Billboard, but stay tuned for confirmation.
