Advent Calendar Day 16: Adam Lister 'Air Jordan 1' Painting
In the artist’s signature 8-bit motif.
New York-based artist Adam Lister has amassed a large fan following for his cubist-like paintings of famous pop culture subjects. From reimagined classic portraits such as Leonardo da Vinci’s painting of Mona Lisa to streetwear partnerships such as a large 8-bit APE HEAD painting installed at BAPE Japan’s Omotesando Hills location, Lister’s creative inspirations are eclectic and unbound.
We’re offering one lucky winner the chance to own an original painting by Adam Lister. Sized at 12” x 12” inches, the artwork sees Lister’s signature composition on the iconic Air Jordan 1 silhouette. The piece was painted with watercolor on 140-pound cold press paper. This giveaway is part of this year’s Advent Calendar 2018 installment through our art-dedicated Instagram handle, @HYPEBEASTArt, in partnership with Adam Lister.
The winners of the Advent Calendar will be announced on December 27.
